Enschede Zero Emission from 1. July 2025`
Enschede is one of the 27 Dutch cities, which are dedicated to Zero Emission City Logistics (ZES). SIX results in lower CO2 emissions, lower and more intelligently designed transport as well as reduced emissions. Auf diese Weise provides six for a beautiful, barrier-free and attractive city. With the help of a small number of kilometers, a profitable development model, and an improvement in climate and a better image for (such) workers and skills.
Which vehicle has arrived in Enschede?
At Zero Emission City Logistics, the business itself is Lkw and Transporter (also small Pkw). For all passenger and passenger cars there will be a duty signal from 2025, in the center of Enschede you will be free to travel, and for all passenger and passenger vehicles will be available from 2030 onwards.
These vehicles are allowed in the city yard:
- Electric cargo bike
- Electric van
- Electric truck
- Vehicle that runs on hydrogen
In the transition phase (until 1 January 2030), plug-in hybrid trucks have access if they can demonstrate that they drive emission-free.
